Shanna Ratner presented the closing keynote at the 2015 Regards to Rural Conference in Bend, Oregon. Her presentation shared perspectives on what it looks like to do economic development differently, drawing on her experience with the WealthWorks framework and her work with people all over the country who are putting the framework into practice on the ground. This included the successes and challenges of many WealthWorks grantees and the new value chains being supported by Rural Development Initiative through WealthWorks Northwest.
