In the face of what appears to be increasing economic and climate volatility, communities are increasingly trying to understand what steps they can take to be more resilient. One of the building blocks of resilience is social capital or the trust, relationships, and networks within a community and between one community and another. Yellow Wood’s work in community resilience and social capital includes assessment, research and tool development that can help take the mystery out of what makes a resilient community.
