Shanna Ratner worked with Barbara Wyckoff of Dynamica Consulting to develop a handbook for ActionAid.  This work built off of the framework developed in the Kathmandu workshop on Gender Sensitive Access to Market and Value Chains. Topics addressed in the handbook included: identification of local production potential; collectives’ reflection on the market; building relationships with markets; gender sensitive value chain to support collective goals; gaps, bottlenecks and risks in the value chain; building sustainable wealth that sticks; and collective plan of actions.
