Northern New York Maple Cooperative

Yellow Wood Associates, Inc. worked with the Lewis County Industrial Development Agency to prepare a business plan, with recommendations for organizational development, for the Northern New York Maple Producers Cooperative, Inc. of Lewis County, New York. Results identified organizational weaknesses, prepared market analysis, and evaluated three alternative production and marketing scenarios for maple syrup. The plan was used to secure funding to hire a marketing specialist for the cooperative.
