Yellow Wood Associates, Inc., in collaboration with the Forest Trust of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the National Network of Forest Practitioners, received a Planning Grant from the Fund for Rural America to develop a national center to create and support citizens' research capacity in rural, forest dependent communities. The Planning Grant process included site visits to communities in New Mexico, Vermont, and Kentucky to determine which services of such a center would benefit communities the most.
