Yellow Wood Associates, Inc. prepared a detailed feasibility study for production and intra-regional marketing of fresh fruits and vegetables in a six-county region of northern New York for the Town of Champlain Local Economic Development Corporation. Work included surveys of buyers and growers, detailed regional market price analysis, consumption analysis, development of a strategy and recommendations. Work resulted in funding for the establishment of North Country Food First, a non-profit organization, to implement the recommendations of this study.
